Broker capacity
Broker Capacity is your monthly pool of live broker connection slots on Chartnaut.
Each enabled MetaTrader link reserves capacity while connected. Demo accounts are typically free. Manage the pool under Trading → Accounts and on the Dashboard accounts card.
How capacity works
Your plan includes a fixed number of capacity units per month (Starter, Pro, Ultra differ)
Enabling a live MT5 account reserves one slot
Disabling or deleting a connection frees the slot for another account
Capacity resets on your billing cycle — check Settings → Subscription for dates
Public docs use Broker Capacity. Older internal names may say link credits — same idea.
Plan sizes (typical)
Pull exact numbers from your plan card in the product. Rough guide:
Plan | Role |
|---|---|
Starter | One live setup — fine for a single MT5 account |
Pro | Multiple accounts or desk + personal |
Ultra | Prop-style or many simultaneous links |
Demo does not consume capacity on standard plans. Confirm on your Subscription page if unsure.
Free a slot
From Trading → Accounts:
Disable an account you are not trading today — keeps history, stops reservation
Or Delete a connection you no longer need — removes the link entirely
Refresh capacity indicator — freed slots should appear immediately
You cannot enable a new live link if the pool is full. Disable something first or upgrade plan.
Capacity vs other limits
Broker Capacity — how many live broker connections you can hold.
AI usage — separate pay-as-you-go credits for AI features — not bundled in plan price.
Research limits — definitions, studies, events — different counters on Subscription.
Do not confuse capacity with backtest count or trade snapshot limits.
Dashboard view
Navigate → Dashboard shows a compact capacity readout next to connected accounts.
Use it as a morning check before enabling an extra MT5 login.
Important distinctions
Broker Capacity applies to live MetaTrader links — not Backtest sessions.
Replay does not use broker capacity — no broker required.
Demo is for live-tick practice without spending MT5 slots on most plans.
