Overview
Chartnaut is an agent-powered trading environment connected to your broker.
Trade live through MetaTrader (MT4 / MT5 today; more platforms coming soon). Practice on past market data. Journal every fill with notes and chart thumbnails. Organize work into playbooks. Research setups with data — then put results back on your live chart.
You can drive every tool yourself. Agents can use those same tools on your behalf. Everything stays in one environment.
What Chartnaut is for
Trade in real time — connect MetaTrader or Demo, open Terminal Real-time, journal fills in Trades.
Practice on history — run a Backtest, trade it in Terminal Replay, review in Trades.
Build a strategy — keep related trades under a Playbook.
Journal everything — one trade library with notes, tags, and thumbnails.
Research faster — define setups, run studies, bring insights onto the chart.
Start with one. The rest gets more valuable as you save work.
Where you work
Terminal is where you chart and trade. Trading → Terminal → choose Real-time (live) or Replay (practice session).
Everything else lives in the sidebar: Dashboard, Accounts, Backtest, Playbooks, Trades, Definitions, Indicators, Conductor, Settings.
Trade in the Terminal. Organize and review everywhere else.
Words you’ll see
Playbook — one named strategy (for example “NY open mean reversion”)
Session — one practice run on past market data (Backtest or playbook practice)
Trades — your journal of every recorded position
Definition — logic that marks when a setup appears in the market
Study — a question you ask over those setups
In-terminal pin — a study result shown on your Terminal chart
Demo — live markets with virtual money (not a Backtest)
MetaTrader — connect under Accounts for live Real-time trading
