Chart settings
Chart settings control how the Terminal looks and behaves — theme, panes, crosshair, position labels, and timezone.
Tune these once per chartbook so charts stay readable through long Real-time or Replay sessions.
Open chart settings
Open Trading → Terminal
Open Settings (gear or chart settings entry on the toolbar or chart menu)
Adjust options — changes apply to the active chart or workspace per control
Some settings are global; others are per panel.
Theme and colors
Light / dark theme — match your room and monitor
Candle colors — up/down bodies and wicks
Grid and background — reduce noise if you prefer a clean chart
Indicator colors — often overridden per indicator in its own settings
Pick contrast you can read at a glance. Dark theme is common for evening sessions.
Panes and layout
Show or hide price scale and time scale
Control sub-panes height for indicators below price
Crosshair style — magnet to OHLC, free float, or hidden
Last price line and bid/ask display where broker data is connected
Trading overlays
When an account is connected in Real-time:
Position labels on chart — entry, stop, target markers
Broker session or market-hours shading (where supported)
DOM / depth panel options if you use the ladder view
These help you see live risk on the chart, not only in the position manager.
Timezone
Set the chart timezone to match how you think about sessions — exchange local, UTC, or your desk time.
Timezone affects bar boundaries on intraday charts. Align it with how you label sessions in your journal.
Persistence
Theme and chart settings save with your user preferences and chartbook. Switching chartbooks may load that book's last panel configuration.
Important distinctions
Chart settings are visual and interaction preferences.
Market data is whether quotes have loaded — see Market data if charts show a preparing state.
Account settings (leverage, disable account) live under Trading → Accounts, not chart settings.
